We recognise that partnerships between the school and our community is key to helping all students’ access learning. We strive to provide information to parents, whanau about children’s learning and plan opportunities for involvement. This includes community events where learning is shared, who we are is celebrated, and our strengths and interests are encouraged and supported.
Regular consultation takes place with the school community, including Maori and Pasifika whanau / fanau, to ensure priorities and perspectives are considered and included in decision making. Contexts for this include Maori Hui, Pasifika Fono, Playgroup parents, Parent Curriculum Information Evenings and Parent focus groups for identified purposes.
